Unfortunately, my mom passed away recently. She was sick for the past few months and therefore, I did a ton of research beforehand on funeral homes in New Jersey to find the best price. The best price I got was for the Old Bridge Funeral Home so that's who we went with. They were great, very kind and were able to answer of all questions. I appreciate them and all of their assistance.
For anyone who's reading this, if you are able to do research beforehand, make sure you get everything in writing. I made sure to do this with every funeral home and when I eventually picked this place, the price they told me was significantly higher than I was originally quoted in writing. I explained this to the staff and they realized I was correct and they fixed the price for me.
Karen and her team are amazing. At a time when you are grieving the lost of a loved one they make the process as painless and simple as possible. They are so nice and super accommodating when possible. While also trying to go and beyond to meet the families needs in this difficult time. Karen is truly an artist my grandmother looked beautiful in her casket. Every detail was perfect and they thought of everything afterwards. Truly an amazing staff. I cannot say enough how helpful the Bolock Funeral Home was to me. From the first phone call I knew I made the right decision to use this funeral home. They were very understanding and asked questions to make sure I was taken care of during this emotional time. The viewing, funeral service, and burial was treated with so much respect my family and my husband's family could not express enough how much we were appreciative of their support. It would have been fine had they not decided to schedule a meeting to plan another funeral while the service for one was taking place. They apparently need more insulation. It was difficult to hear the priest over the loud voices through the wall. What a shame. This is how a family has to say good bye to a loved one. Couldn't have avoided just that 30 minute time slot during the actual service. Really a shameful disgrace.

Old Bridge Funeral Home is a place of comfort, understanding and love. All of the things needed when I loss my dad and now my mom. Everyone here is special. During our time of sorrow for the loss of our mom, Bolock was there from the beginning. Laura was the person who arrived at our home for the intake process which went well under the circumstances. She was consoling and precise about what we needed to do going forward regarding mom who passed at home where she preferred to be. Upon arriving at Bolock we met with Brittany who was the most caring, compassionate, professional ever. Above and beyond was the services provided which made the grieving process more of a blessing for our mom’s transition. We know that she is at peace in The Presence of The Lord but we knew that her remains was in good hands at Bolock. Thanks to all of the caring staff for making a hard time lighter.
My family could not have been more pleased or more thankful for the guidance and service we received from David and his excellent team at Old Bridge Funeral Home. We were completely surprised by the passing of my mother and did not really know where to turn to find out how best to honor her.
We called two other funeral homes first that were more familiar to us in the community and were turned off that they seemed to have very little interest in what my mother's wishes were and wanted us to conform to their "usual" ways of doing things. When we called OB FH and the phone was answered by Matthew we knew we found the right place. From the very beginning their only genuine interest was on helping us through the grieving process. They did all of the listening where as the other places did all of the talking.
We could not have been more happy with the end result. The entire memorial service was a wonderful celebration of my mother. They handled every aspect that we wanted to outsource to them. Over 350 people attended and commented how beautiful the service was and how it made it easier to say goodbye to my mother. Their team even personally handled guiding 125 people to the lunch following the service at a restaurant over a half hour away. My mother would have been very touched by the entire day and it could not have been accomplished without Old Bridge Funeral Home. Thank you.

We wanted to go with another funeral home but they didn't have the Saturday time we wanted. When my grandmother passed this January we were all at a loss but when Waitt said they had the availability we were able to get the ball rolling. We worked with Stephanie and she was AMAZING! IF I COULD GIVE HER MORE STARS I WOULD! The funeral home is open 24 hours so when we had questions in the evening she would call us back immediately. The funeral home offered complimentary live service for those who couldn't attend due to COVID! A service other homes don't provide. We made meal kits for our guests since we couldn't have a traditional reception. Stephanie offered to have her team pass it out to cars on there way out of the cemetery. She was very flexible. I hope it is a long time until we need their service again, but when the time comes we'll be going with Waitt Funeral Home again and asking for Stephanie!
They have always been kind and go out of their way to help you out. During one of the hardest times a person can go through you can be assured to have a friend even if you didn't know them before hand a friend to help you go through the process of such an event which does change your lives.
